The school is quite neat and clean, the atmosphere is quite calm. There is no noise pollution so to disturb teaching learning process. The students come to school by the surrounding population. The people of the village are farmers and are very poor; they remain busy in their work. The people are very innocent and have a lot of trouble in their economic growth they just depend upon the seasonal crops. Apart of that they need money in other way to live their lives and to feed the family. That is why they do not value the education. They just want to make their children to work for earning the money. This institute has produced some amazing and brilliant students who are now working in the different fields of life.

  • NEEDS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

  • In this institute there is lack of basic educational needs some are as under:

  1. Need of a Librarian and separate room of Library with new books (Because all the books are scattered in the different classes of students and there no one keen enough to take care.)
  2. Need of Computer Teacher and Computer Laboratory for Students (The students are educated and taught different kind of subjects but students do not have the knowhow or knowledge of computer. That is why it is necessary for them to cope with the technology.)
  3. Need of purified water plant (Water pollution is major problem for our students they drink dirty water of canal. In the area of school we have hand pumps to take water which is so salty and chemically hard to drink. Though the water is salty it makes the students sick as well as the community people.)
  4. Need of awareness of Environmental Education (the school is beautiful and covered of a lot trees all around but the student are not aware to take care of that .Utilize our environmental sources in the right way to make our environment fresh and clean. So it is stressed to teach them through the curriculum in such a way to make them realize that you will remain healthy if your environment is not polluted.)
  5. Need of awareness of Historical Education (The village has some historical places no one care about it. Though we know a little about but the teacher and students are learned and taught in a broader way. The students do not have the information about their school, family, village, city and religion.)
  6. Need of Science Laboratory Material (The students are taught science subjects like Biology and Chemistry every year. The teacher do not perform them the practical work due to unavailability of science material. Which is big draw back and making an effective impact on the student’s learning efficiency.)
  7. Need of a big play ground for the students to play the different kind of games along with the academic activities.
  8. Needs of sports material ( The students are so much anxious to have extracurricular activities apart of the academic activities. They do not have sports material to play with.)

NON-SIBI REFLECTION
My name is Chandan Kumar. I am high a school teacher, as a teacher it is my duty or job to educate the people of my community. The people of my community are so innocent and honest. Being a teacher I teach the students of my society and community. In 2001 I stared my teaching as a private school teacher in Aqsa High school. I was young, energetic and passionate to teach and learn. I was teaching Math’s, Chemistry and Physics. As an educator in the beginning I taught the students at my home, I also travelled to student’s home to teach and I did not ask any fees from these students. In the public Schools Teachers do not teach students in a way that they can get all the information needed to pass examination because it is difficult for the teachers to pay attentions to every individual.

I continue this process for almost two years to make them good students of the society so that they could pass the matriculation examination. My students did their best and became college students. I tried my best to make them dutiful, dedicated and honest citizen. In addition I also supported and helped the students who were poor to get admission in the school. The people do not allow their children to learn and to be educated because their parents were uneducated. The children of my community were forced to do child labor and used to fix and repair the furniture. I urged parents not to destroy their children’s future and allow them to do something for themselves and family. For example There was a lady in my neighborhood whose husband died due Hepatitis, I went to her and told her things will be changed just let your son to go to school he will earn and serve you, if he is able to get education. I will help him in every way and make sure if you want he will learn to become an obedient son. This is volunteer service to my dear students for which I am always ready to do something.

Reflection of Max-Warburg Courage Curriculum

It was great pleasure to be at the Max Warburg Courage Curriculum Northeastern University. It was all about the courage of student who fought hard days of his life courageously. It was wonderful experience to know about the max Warburg efforts at the time of study. To encourage the students to write their memorable moments and they are collected and printed in the curriculum. The good thing which inspired me that the institute is encouraging the students all over the country as well as all over the world to make other students part of it and share their thoughts. It is really amazing to have thoughts of students about their incidents and courage.

Being a teacher I am really inspired to have this wonderful creativity and idea to encourage the students and also to improve their cognitive and writing skills. I must say that we should focus on strengthening the character development and literacy skills of students. The program empowers children to discover, and then recognize, the role of courage in the lives of the characters they read about, in the lives of those around them, and in their own lives – past, present and future.

Feedback of Washington DC Trip:

We are in Plymouth State University since 4th of July 2012. During this session we are learning and getting a lot of knowledge about the educational facilities, teaching skills, self-motivation, pedagogical skills, new methodologies, and observing the environment regarding the student teacher relationship. Although we have traveled to different places, schools, institutes, but we are so hereby to get an opportunity to visit USA Capital Washington DC. We had 4 day trip to Washington on 22nd to 25th of July 2012.

On the trip we were so astonished and amazed by looking buildings, monuments and roads. During this trip we were busy in visiting:

  1. Trolley tour of Washington in which we had been informed and acknowledged about history of Washington DC.
  2. Lincoln Memorial.
  3. Statue of Einstein
  4. Statue of soldiers of Vietnam Memorial.
  5. Washington Monument.
  6. State of civil rights.
  7. Thomas Jefferson Memorial.
  8. The Capital house of congress.
  9. State Department.
  10. ADMS Institute.
  11. Pakistan Embassy.
  12. Voice of America Broad caste Institute.
  13. Smithsonian Institute.
  14. Alexandria King Street

I was really amazed that the Americans are great Nation. They really should be because they value their Nation’s history and people to make them realize every day that we are one nation. The Americans seem to be proud and paying so much respect to the soldier of world war, to the presidents, and to the people who have done something for the country. It also creates a spirit of Patriotism which builds the character of future generation.
Besides this we had a chance to go to Air and Space Museum and Natural History Museum in which I personally observed that people and kids of the country as well as tourists get attentions and inspiration of unity, faith and dedication.
Visiting State Department and meeting with SENATOR JEAN SHAHEEN of New Hampshire encouraged us to make our message strong and effective. We were also admired and appreciated with the reward of certificate that was really wonderful.
On 25th of July 2012 we were informed to visit VOA (Voice of America), the International Broad casting institute of America where we were obliged and given the useful information about the cultural and basic issues of our country. We were also able to make interviews in different languages to express our thoughts and feedback. This was really great experience to convey our message to our country and to the world.
These kinds of things and places enhance the creativity, motivation, self-respect, determination and cognitive skills of the learner as well as educator.
On the whole we had been facilitated by each and everything which one was according to our basic information.
I am really thankful to the PELI that has changed my thoughts regarding to my professional skills and make me to think, act, observe, evaluate, respect, assist, facilitate, asses and change the behavior of the students. So that my students could also be liberal and patriotic to the Nation.
